Today, I didn’t have a chance to do studio production work because I was busy with worship services. The morning service at Mountain Springs was awesome. I got back into musical directing after taking a week off last week, and started becoming more comfortable communicating with the band on the mic. We were able to have some spontaneous moments of worship, which is something our worship leader was happy to hear!

After the service, I had to put up quickly to travel to Kitchener for another evening worship service! This one was a bit different because it wasn’t as spontaneous, and we had to play more songs. When I arrived, we had a rehearsal to make sure the songs sounded strong. The worship leader, Brad, allowed me to use a click to keep us playing on time, and also let me sing, which I enjoyed!

I enjoyed having a day off of studio work because I knew the next few days were going to be crunch time leading up to my final mixing session at Humber. It is also nice being able to go back to performing live with several talented musicians!
